“My adventures on snow began back in the 70’s in Les Arcs, where I first learnt to ski. I went on to live in the Middle East, Switzerland and then the beautiful Dordogne for several years before commencing our Chalet Beatrice building project in 2008.
I visited the local area and simply fell in love with Montriond. It’s close enough to the centre of Morzine to benefit from all the amazing resort facilities on offer, but it’s also very close to the rapid ski lifts of Ardent, Les Lindarets and Avoriaz. The village itself has a lovely Savoyarde feel so our guests truly feel that they’re holidaying in the French Alps when they stay with us.
I commissioned Chalet Beatrice, named after my Grandmother Beatrice Otter, to be built by a local company who had a reputation for uncompromising quality. This point was very important to me! The design and layout were carefully considered to give our guests the perfect blend of privacy and social space. We also added in extra little touches, such as several balconies with awe-inspiring views, and an enclosed kitchen.
Since 2008 we’ve welcomed hundreds of families and groups through the doors of Chalet Beatrice and we’re delighted when they return year after year. Please do get in touch if you have any questions.”
